Communion

Serving on the Communion Team is a wonderful opportunity to really embrace what Christ is all about. Through communion, we symbolize the fact the Jesus was sent to us to cover our sins. He freely gave of His body and blood so that sins would be forgiven for all.
Commitment to the team can be at least one service per month, distributing the elements to your church family; along with the purchase of the bread & juice; and/or preparation and clean-up of the communion table. Couples and parents with older children are encouraged to join, thus making it easier to assign days and times (together).
Design & Decorate

The team decorates for Christmas, dramas, weddings and special events. Most supplies are on hand, but donations will be cheerfully considered (i.e., tablecloths, large pieces of material, flowers, vases/containers, etc.) Also, the banners you see hanging in the sanctuary are rotated seasonally. Other areas the team assists with are: additions/construction (consult & design), displaying of artwork and sound- absorbing panels, and even help with our annual Vacation Bible School (V.B.S.).
Drama

Currently, the drama team is running on a per-request basis. Usually, they perform at Easter and Christmas time. Occasionally, a special drama is done throughout the year, like a dessert theater. When these performances are scheduled, we will hold auditions where parts are cast and rehearsals are planned out. New talent is always accepted. Also, part of drama production includes prop people, stage help, tech & lighting help, and décor help. If you have interest in assisting in these areas, please let us know!
Tech

The tech team mixes the sound, runs the slide shows for worship music, and controls the lights so we can see the band, dramas, and Pastors Joe & Dave better. They even have the power to make them sound like Darth Vader or Papa Smurf. We have some wonderful and committed people on the team, and we have room for more. If this service sounds interesting, stop by the tech booth in the back and talk to one of our team members.
Worship

The music ministry meets on a regular basis to connect as a team, and rehearse for Sunday's music and the occasional Worship Night. The style ranges from acoustic to a full band. If interested in being part of the team, contact Jen to schedule either a vocal or instrument audition.
