Mom's Group

Whether you need advice or can offer advice as a new mom, this is a support group for you. Do new-mom-life together with this friendly, warm group of women. Play dates are beginning to form and connections are being made both on Monday evenings and through our Facebook page. The bonus is that your child gets some social/play time with new friends. Currently our children are ages 12 weeks to 2 years. Contact Nicki Workman if interested or, better yet, show up in the daycare section of the church on Monday @ 6:30 PM.
"Life Between The Pages"
Meets: 2nd Monday of every month

Location: Crossroads Church
The book club meets on the 2nd Monday of the month from September to May. Most books we read have 300-400 pages, with a longer book chosen for over the summer months, to be discussed at our first meeting in September. We make our monthly selections by consensus. The group leader provides a list of books to get things started, and members are encouraged to bring their own suggestions, and we decide together what we will read.
Though the majority of the group is women, we have two men and we welcome more.
Members of the group use a variety of reading resources. There is the traditional hard cover or paperback book and some also use Kindles, I-pads and audio books.
Discussions are lively and interesting, providing a wide range of perspectives.
"Knit Together"

We knit, we crochet and in the process, the best part, I think, we get to become friends.
